Auctioneer’s Note: This land is located in the rolling hills northeast of Alcester, SD and approximately 7 miles from the Iowa border.  The land is in a corn/soybean rotation and is available to the new owner for the 2018 crop year. The FSA estimates there is approximately 76.6 acres of cropland with a 37.7 acre corn base with a 135 bushel PLC yield and a 37.6 acre soybean base with a 42 bushel PLC yield.  County soil rating of .735. According to Surety/AgriData the land has a productivity rating of 71.5 and predominate soils include: Moody-Nora silty clay loam, 6-10 percent slopes and Moody silty clay loam, 2-6 % slopes.
